Why partners matter
New technology creates new companies, but strong companies rarely emerge in isolation. They are built in environments where founders, investors, partners and talent work close to each other — with access to real problems, real customers and real capital.
Gothenburg has world-class industry, strong engineering talent and leading research, but has lacked a dedicated environment focused on company creation.
AI Gothenburg exists to create the conditions where new companies can be built here — and stay here. The hub is long-term infrastructure for company building.
Why become a partner
AI Gothenburg is shared infrastructure for company creation. Partners participate because strong environments require long-term commitment from industry, investors and public actors.
By participating, partners stay close to the environment where new companies are being built and help ensure that talent, ideas and ventures grow in the region.
Partnership is not primarily about visibility or sponsorship. It is about contributing to long-term capacity for company creation — while working side by side with founders, investors and other partners.
- Stay close to emerging companies and talent
- Enable new ventures to be built in the region
- Support pilots, spin-outs and collaboration
- Strengthen the local innovation environment
Shared infrastructure, not owned by any single actor.
Partner roles
AI Gothenburg works with different types of partners depending on their role in building and supporting the environment. Partnerships are defined individually — depending on scope, involvement and long-term commitment.
Founding partners
Founding partners help establish the long-term infrastructure of the hub. They contribute with significant long-term support and play an active role in making the environment possible — through funding, facilities, technology, compute resources or other strategic support.
