Nordic Angels luncheon, two AI companies pitching live, invite-only.

    recap · · adway hq · gothenburg

    two teams. one afternoon.
    live demos.

What 60+ Gothenburg founders, investors, and angels saw when incredible and fintower shipped live, no slides, at Adway HQ, and why AI Gothenburg is the room you want to be in.

Philip Alm opened the afternoon, no slides, just shipping.

The CEO of incredible walked the room through how the team is racing frontier models against each other in production: gpt-oss-120B, NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super, Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview, Grok 4. Tokens per second on the wall. Honest tradeoffs, no marketing gloss.

What you see in the clip is what the room saw, speed, silence, and a CEO comfortable standing next to his own benchmark chart.

Today, just past noon, the lift on the top floor of Adway HQ opened onto a room of sixty. Founders. Investors. Angels. Two Gothenburg-based teams with a keyboard shortcut on stage instead of a deck. We watched both ship live.

incredible's voice agent took over a desktop, jumped between Gmail, Slack, Notion, and a Visma system from 1996, and finished a workflow before the question that started it had ended. Press a shortcut, talk, the agent takes over. Backed by Spintop Ventures and Starbright Invest.

fintower's finance OS pulled the cash, runway, and margin of a real Gothenburg company onto a single live page in front of the room, no monthly Excel marathon, no spreadsheet. AI-driven ekonomistyrning that replaces the work the finance team has been doing by hand for a decade. Built in Gothenburg by a team that has lived the pain on both the operator and the advisor side.

The pizza buffet went first. The skyline lounge filled up before three. The Q&A ran past the hour, and the founders stayed.

This is the room. If you are building, raising, or writing checks in this city, AI Gothenburg is where you need to be. The next time will be different. The room won't.

    Incredible

    voice-to-voice ai agent · gothenburg

A real-time voice-to-voice agent that runs directly on your computer. Train it, hand over tasks. It works across Gmail, Slack, Notion, Docs, Sheets, the browser, even legacy Visma systems from the 90s. Press a shortcut, talk, and the agent takes over.

    Fintower

    ai-driven ekonomistyrning · gothenburg

The finance operating layer that replaces the spreadsheets and manual reporting most finance teams still rely on. Plugs into your accounting and ERP systems. Automates close, forecasting, and management reporting. Founders and CFOs get a live view of cash, runway, and margins without the monthly Excel marathon.

    Service as a software.

The line that landed hardest came from Ehsan, halfway through the fintower demo. The shift everyone in the room is racing toward isn't just SaaS with a chat box bolted on. It is software that encapsulates a service, the work that used to live inside a junior accountant, a customer-success rep, a forecast analyst, and ships the outcome.

Pricing changes when the unit changes. Seats and consumption start to blur. What you buy is the insight. What you pay for is the answer that landed in your inbox at 07:42, with a calibrated confidence band attached. Humans stay in the loop for the calls that matter. The mundane gets quietly subtracted.

Both teams on stage said the same thing in different words. Augmentation, not replacement. Automation that frees humans up to do the work the firm actually values, the work that does not show up on a timesheet.

    "buying insights, not seats."
    From the room

    four people. every discipline.

fintower does not run on a single, omnipotent model. Frontier models do the open-ended work, interpreting what a CFO meant when she typed half a question into the prompt bar, walking a new user through onboarding, summarising a board pack from a hundred ledgers. The boring parts, the parts where finance demands a precise, repeatable answer, run on smaller, calibrated, stable models that have been beaten on the same domain for months.

The product refuses to fix your data. It surfaces the holes. Where the bookings ledger and the accounting ledger disagree, the dashboard shows red and routes you back to the source. AI hallucination is what happens when a model is forced to paper over a gap. Fintower would rather show you the gap.

On the user side: the CFO stops being the person who reports last month, and becomes the person who runs scenarios for next quarter. Onboarding takes minutes, self-service. Insights arrive proactively, before the question forms. Prompt-driven forecasting still has a learning curve, but in twelve months it will be the default way the CFO opens her laptop on a Monday.

"show the gap. don't paper it over."
    From the room

Privacy by checkbox. Augmentation by design.

Both teams were direct about the unglamorous part. Customer data does not go to LLM providers for model training. Checkbox compliance, on by default. The wider question of what gets logged, by whom, for how long, neither founder pretended that one is solved.

The honest framing is the one they led with. The agent is a colleague, not a replacement. The mundane work, the spreadsheet at the end of the month, the inbox triage, the handoff between five tabs, gets compressed. The room then has to choose what to do with the time that's been freed up. That is the founder's question, not the model's.

    "the agent is a colleague."

    Viktor Nord
postscript · first person · host of the afternoon

I spent less time creating an AI event than buying Coca-Cola.

A note from Viktor Nord, who hosted the afternoon, on what it actually takes, in 2026, to pull a 50-person AI founder & investor meetup together. The honest version. Walking the talk.

    the setup

I visited Philip from incredible in Jönköping. He said: "i want to come to Gothenburg. i want to meet AI founders and investors." I said "I'll fix something." Then I procrastinated. A bit too long.

Then Philip texted me. I got a typical Swedish ångest that forced action.

    execution, ~60 minutes

    1. Content (10–15 min)

Used Claude Design for the LinkedIn post and visuals. "Classic" Claude for the event description. Tweaked a bit. Done. No overthinking. No blank-page problem.

    2. Event setup (5–10 min)

Created the event in Luma. Built a simple event page via Claude Code, integrating Luma. Added Philip (incredible) and convinced Ehsan (fintower), even though he hates standing on stage, even though he is a superstar at it. Two speakers sounds more serious than one. Always.

    3. Distribution (15–20 min)

Posted on LinkedIn. Asked Claude to scan my inbox and find AI founders, investors, and angels. It actually did it. Sent invites. Pinged the team on Slack to fire a Resend email to the broader supporter network from aigothenburg.com. At this point I had done quite some outreach.

    4. Let AI decide who gets in (10 min setup)

~100 people signed up. I had zero time to review them. Solution: Perplexity Comet browser agent. Prompt: "approve founders, investors, AI people. decline the rest." Result: ~50 people approved. Was it perfect? No. Did I review it? Also no. Some legit people were probably rejected because they don't exist on the internet (according to the AI). That's a new kind of problem.

    where things got inefficient

This is where AI stopped helping.

Pizza. Tried to use my assistant Vicky, hosted in Open Claw, to handle this. She could find the restaurant, but not pay for the pizzas or the delivery. So I did something very 2005: I called them and paid with Swish like a normal person.

Coca-Cola crisis. Realized we had no drinks. Drove to ICA. Time spent: ~10 minutes. That's longer than creating the event, writing the content, and setting up the page. Buying Coca-Cola is now the bottleneck of innovation.

Cleanup (the real boss fight). Two dishwashers running. Pizza boxes everywhere. Trash bags. Time spent: ~30 minutes. This took longer than building and marketing the entire event. No AI helped. No automation. Just me and reality. I only got a couple of hands, next time I need more help cleaning.

    post-event, ~25 min

Created a news post with the photos and videos (this one, using ChatGPT to record what I wanted to write). Posted on LinkedIn. Sent thank-you messages via Luma. Felt productive again.

    summary: the receipts

    event creation + promotion~60 min
    coca-cola mission~10 min
    pizza workaround~10 min
    cleanup~30 min
    follow-up~25 min

    key takeaways

AI is extremely good at: writing, structuring, distribution.

AI is terrible at: carrying Coca-Cola, loading dishwashers, paying for pizza (apparently).

You can now go from idea → 50-person event in a few hours. But physical tasks still dominate the time.

    what i'll fix next time

Pre-order drinks (no ICA run). Fix payment setup for AI tools. Outsource cleanup. Improve attendee filtering (slightly less ruthless AI).

"starting things is easy now. execution is fast. the real constraint is everything that requires a body."
Bottom line · Viktor Nord, host, AI Gothenburg
